Well – first hand confusion – it was the People that I was choosing in my life that seemed to always land me in a mess. There were other parts of my life that I could do OK – but when I skidded full force down the road, about to blow up in a fiery ball of flames, this derailing had a lot to do with who I was letting into my life in casual and intimate ways.
And – on that note – my ‘People-Picker’ was clearly broken. ‘What’s that’?, you ask. Well, it will become most apparent to you, at the worst time. When you really need people around you who love and support you! That was the folly of it. People were very happy to snuggle up to me in the good times – and ‘throw me under the bus’ in the difficult ones.
